- Wahl Professional Peanut Cordless Hair Clipper / Trimmer - #8663: This is probably my favorite trimmer I've ever owned. It is a tiny palm size trimmer that I take wherever I go. To the salon, on vacation I usually always can find a use for it. It is very powerful and comes with precision blades that snap on and off easily.
One of the greatest things about a Wahl Trimmer is that is usually can be used as a clipper as well. Of course you can't provide heavy duty hair cuts with your trimmer; not that you would try. But if you see a fade could use a little touch up, you can do so with your Wahl trimmer. A lot of times when I'm lining the neck and around the ears, I will use this trimmer to finish up the cut if I see spots were missed. Oh yeah, these trimmers will last forever! I use the cordless Peanut trimmer pretty much on a daily basis and it still runs like new 1 1/2 years down the road. So if you're a weekly or bi-weekly user, expect these trimmers to last for at least four years. And, remember this longevity won't happen magically. It is very important you properly maintain your trimmers by brushing them out after every use and apply lubricant and cleaner at least every week. These are hair trimmers that will not break the bank and I guarantee you will fall in love!
