Spornette Spornette is recognized as an industry leader within the beauty realm for world class hair brushes. Originally founded in the early 1950s by Walter Sporn as The Walter Sporn Company; the first brush concept was discovered after meeting an engineer who was making eye liner and lip brushes for major cosmetic conglomerate. After some convincing, Walter convinced the engineer to allow him to implant plastic handles with nylon bristles. Several months later, The Walter Sporn Company introduced the no-name five row brush and then shortly thereafter the several row nylon bristle brush with plastic-handles. In no time, The Walter Sporn company began developing other brushes such as The Little Wonder, The Petite, The continental, and the Duette. In the 1950s Walter visited Europe and came home with a new vision and new designs which introduced their cushion, round boar, and round nylon brushes!
