Open the Pores

- Antibacterial Cleansers: The most popular ingredient in over-the-counter antibacterial cleansers is benzoyl peroxide.
- Topical Applications: These products are available in gels, creams, and lotions, which are applied to the affected area. The active ingredients that kill surface bacteria include benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, and resorcinol.
Reduce Facial Oil
You cannot stop your oil glands from producing oil but what you can do is get rid of the oil on the surface of the skin.
- Masques containing sulfur and other ingredients draw out facial oil.
- Antibacterial pads containing benzoyl peroxide help you wipe away oil.
Other Methods
- Facials: Steaming your face can be useful because it helps unclog your pores, especially for people with whiteheads or blackheads.
- Pore Strips: Effective do-it yourself facials and pull oil and contaminants from your pores. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes for your nose, forehead, chin etc. They are inexpensive, safe, and work well if used properly.
