Mizani Butter Blend Rhelaxer Coarse/Resistant Treated an easy rinse, advanced, sodium hydroxide relaxer, that is specially deigned to condition hair leaving it in perfect balance. This carefully blended product, has the perfect ingredients and consistency to achieve maximum relaxation. An ultra-moisturizing formula of cortex-penetrating conditioners, cocoa butter, shea butter, honey and polyquaterium-6 adds lubricity and a soft silky feel.

Before Relaxing:

• Do not shampoo before relaxing.
• Check condition of client's hair and scalp
• Select correct relaxer strength.
• Avoid vigorous brushing, combing or tugging.
• Wearing protective gloves, conduct a strand test using "Relaxer Application" directions on a small section of hair.
• Proceed only if condition of hair and scalp are good.

Relaxer Application:

• Step 1:
• Apply protective base on skin around hairline and ears.
• Avoid hair.
• Set timer according to Relaxing Timing Chart below prior to application of product.
• Wearing protective gloves, apply a generous amount of relaxer to most resistant area using back of rattail comb or application brush.
• Do not apply to scalp
• Continue application throughout entire head, parting in thin sections.
• Complete all sections and apply to hairline last.
• With gloved fingers or back of rattail comb, gently smooth hair at scalp area until desired straightness is achieved.
• Never exceed recommended timing.
• Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

• Step 2:
• Selecting option A-condition or Option B-Phormula-7 Neutralizing/Chelating Shampoo.
• Option A: Conditioning before neutralizing shampoo.
• Apply and distribute Moisturfuse Moisture Conditioner to hair and cover with plastic cap.
• Do not use heat.
• Leave in hair for 10 minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Apply 1 to 1 1/2 oz. Phormula-7 Neutralizing/Chelating Shampoo to hair.
• Lather
• Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
• Repeat.
• Proceed to normal styling.
• Option B: Neutralizing Shampoo before conditioning.
• Apply 1 to 1 1/2 oz. Phormula-7 Neutralizing/Chelating Shampoo to hair.
• Lather
• Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
• Repeat.
• Apply and distribute Moisturefuse Moisturizing Conditioner to hair and cover with plastic cap.
• Rinse
• Towel dry.
• Proceed to normal styling.
