Hot Tools Flat Iron Review

Hot Tools Flat Iron Review
There are many things that have to be taken into consideration when purchasing a straightening iron. The material the plates are made out of, the temperature, and the level of protection for damage are all important aspects in a straightening iron. Hot Tools continues to create some of the most innovative flat irons on the market with the most advanced technology and options.

Hot Tools has patented the heat pulse technology which promises that "Every Hot Tools iron Gets Hot...Stays Hot." This pulse technology can detect when a tool is losing surface heat, at which point it will quickly restore the temperature, which greatly reduces styling time. Hot tools has also implemented Nano Ceramic technology which allows for a greater surface area. The ceramic that is used to create these irons has an infrared heat which allows it to reach straight through the cuticle into the cortex of the hair which prevents hair from becoming damaged and dry.

The plates used in Hot Tools flat irons are specifically meant to lock in moisture to hydrate the hair. The titanium used in these plates gives the iron a light weight feeling while still being tough enough to prevent scratches and damage to the plates from constant use. Some of their straightening irons also offer floating plates which only allow for a limited space between the plates creating a greater concentration of heat.

Hot tools has a variety of different collections and each collection offers different tools with different features. Some of the Hot Tools collections include the Professional, CeramicTi Tourmaline, Nano Ceramic, Pink Titanium, Blue Ice TitaniumTi, and Diamond Platinum lines. Each of these lines include hair straighteners with different elements.

Their professional straightening iron heats up to 430 degrees and has pulse heat technology. This tool also has floating plates and a ceramic heater for fast heat up times. The CeramicTi Tourmaline heats up to 430 degrees and also has floating plates and a ceramic heater. In addition to those, this line offers the protection of titanium, deep infrared heat which reaches the cortex of the hair and moisturizing negative ions.

The Nano Ceramic collection offers two different irons which can reach up to 430 degrees and 450 degrees. It has the standard pulse technology that is found in all of the Hot Tools products along with nano technology, infrared heat, and titanium protection. They also have floating plates, ceramic heaters, and mini sized options.

The remaining three lines, Pink Titanium, Blue Ice TitaniumTi, and Diamond Platinum, can all reach 450 degrees and also have floating plates and ceramic heaters. The Pink and Blue lines have titanium protection and mini sized options. The Diamond Platinum series has Nano silver, nano technology and infrared heat.

Each and every option in the Hot Tools flat iron collections offer great results at an affordable price, but make sure you weigh all the factors before purchasing as they have very different purposes and features. If your hair is dry choose an option that has moisturizing elements and if you are constantly on the go with your tools choose one with titanium to protect from scratches.
